In an audition segment of the hit talent show, Pilipinas Got Talent, Angel Locsin immediately pressed the red buzzer to signify her rejection of the performance.
The sex girl dance group’s, known as “Playgirls”, performances, consisted of them twerking and “car washing”, squeezing soap suds on their body and throwing a bucket of water on themselves.
The La Luna Sangre star expressed her concern after the performance, to the girl group. Masyado kayo magaganda at masyado niyo ’tong pinaghirapan para gawin ’yan,” she said.”
Locsin added.
Her co-judges Robin Padilla, despite saying yes to their performance, asked the girl contestants to listen well, and not see it badly. Since Angel Locsin’s advocacy is women’s rights.
Vice Ganda, another co-judge of Locsin, said that he is not against what the girls are wearing, but her decision is based off from their talent itself, which was non-existent. “Kung may talent talaga kayo, kahit naka-pajamas pa kayo, makikita’t makikita namin yun,” said Vice Ganda, non-verbatim.
In their defense, members of the girl group, Playgirls, posted on their respective social media accounts.
